Starter, Professional, Enterprise

Scale your casting workflow from one show to an entire season.

Every company plan supports the core casting flow: build shows, run auditions, review callbacks, manage cast decisions, and keep teams aligned. Higher tiers increase operational capacity and unlock deeper production tooling, including the Production Hub with day-detail time slots and Cast Notes, the Pro Team Hub for leadership, video callbacks, one-time decline emails, and — starting at Professional — the Technical Hub workspace for the Technical Director, Light, and Sound Technician team.

Starter Built for smaller companies launching one active production at a time.
Professional Best for organizations managing multiple productions and broader internal teams.
Enterprise Designed for large or touring organizations that need uncapped operational scale.
Big Professional jump Professional adds multi-show capacity, more admin seats, multi-location scheduling, and the Costuming module.

Professional at a glance

Seats 1 owner, 4 admin accounts, and up to 10 pro-team accounts per show.
Capacity Run up to 10 active shows instead of a single active show.
Production operations Gain advanced production calendar tools, multi-location performance scheduling, and costuming workflows.
Core casting remains Auditions, callbacks, cast list management, conflict tools, and the Production Hub stay central across paid tiers.

Feature Comparison

Feature Starter Professional Enterprise What it means
Active shows 1 10 Unlimited Controls how many productions can remain active at the same time.
Owner account 1 1 1 Owner-level control for billing and company administration.
Admin accounts 1 4 Unlimited Administrative seats for people who manage company operations across productions.
Pro-team accounts per show 5 10 Unlimited Production-facing seats for directors, stage managers, choreographers, music directors, costuming roles, and the Technical Director. Light Technician and Sound Technician seats are tracked separately (see Technician seats per show below) and do not count against this allowance.
Technical Directors (company-wide) Not included Up to 2 Unlimited Company-wide Technical Director seats. The Technical Director owns the Tech Hub for every show — activates the hub, posts/announces, schedules tech calendar entries, uploads files, and invites Light/Sound Technicians. Tracked separately from the pro-team allowance.
Technician seats per show (Light + Sound) Not included Up to 8 Unlimited Per-show Light Technician and Sound Technician seats invited from the Tech Hub. Counted separately from the pro-team allowance — inviting a technician does not consume a pro-team seat.

Live slot booking hold window Included Included Included When an actor selects a live audition slot, MasterCast temporarily holds that slot for 10 minutes so booking can be completed without losing the selected time.
Booking Terms and Conditions Included Included Included Owners/Admins can manage company-specific booking terms in Company Settings; those terms render at the bottom of actor audition-booking pages.
Production calendar Standard Advanced Advanced Coordinate rehearsal and production dates, with advanced tools enabled above Starter.
Multi-location performance scheduling Not included Included Included Manage multiple performance runs and location-based scheduling for a show.
Callback list management Included Included Included Review and organize callback candidates during casting decisions.
Cast list management Included Included Included Track assignments, offers, and final cast decisions in one place.

Production Hub Included Included Included Share production updates, files, and show-specific communication after casting moves forward.
Production Hub Cast Notes Included Included Included Post rich-text notes to All Cast, Specific Roles, or Specific Actors with optional calendar dates so the right people see the right notes.
Survey Forms (Production Hub) Included Included Included Build a reusable company-level form library with Text, Yes/No, and Multi-Choice fields (and an optional anonymous-responses toggle), then assign forms to any show. Everyone with Production Hub access — cast, show roles, Pro Team, Owner/Admin, Technical Director, Light/Sound Technicians, and Costumers — receives a notification and can fill the assignment; Owners and Admins see the responses dashboard.
Production Hub day-detail time slots & cancellation Included Included Included Capture per-day time blocks (e.g. “6:00 PM — Act 1 Scene 2”), pick the cast performing on dress-rehearsal and performance days, and mark days as cancelled — the cancellation propagates to every hub calendar (Production, Pro Team, Technical).
Pro Team Hub (leadership-only workspace) Included Included Included Internal-only feed, calendar with time-block day details, and shared files for Directors, Music Directors, Choreographers, Stage Managers, Assistant Directors, Costumers, and Costume Designers (plus Owners and Admins). Cast members and technicians never see this hub.
Technical Hub (Light/Sound team workspace) Not included Included Included Per-show workspace for the Technical Director, Light Technicians, and Sound Technicians: tech feed (posts and announcements), tech calendar with team assignments (including rehearsal days) and day-detail time slots, a shared file library, and a read-only Cast tab mirroring the show's latest cast breakdown. Inherits cancelled days from the production calendar.
Communication Hub (channels + DMs) Not included Included Included Built-in company chat workspace with channels and direct messages for internal communication, separate from show-scoped hubs.
Custom company roles Not included Included Included Create custom roles with admin-level or user-level permission tracks. User-level custom roles can access Communication Hub without full admin privileges.
Company Documents library with per-area auto-attach Included Included Included Upload reusable documents once and choose which areas — Registration Forms, Audition Sides, Callback Sides, Production Hub, Technical Hub, or Pro Team Hub — they auto-attach to on every new show.
Video callbacks (per-actor grant) Included Included Included When a callback list is finalized, manually allow individual actors to submit a video callback if they cannot attend in person.
One-time decline emails (Not Called Back / Not Cast) Included Included Included Optional courtesy emails to actors who are not called back or not cast in a given casting cycle. Sends are one-time per cycle and tracked on the list.
Costuming module Not included Included Included Run costume records, measurements, fittings, mending, and related team workflows.
